Cougar Bucks questions
- What's the difference between Cougar Bucks and meal-plan dollars?
- They're two different balances on the same Cougar Card. Cougar Bucks can be spent on campus and at participating off-campus businesses. Meal-plan dollars are for SIUE dining locations only.
- Do all SIUE students have Cougar Bucks?
- No. Cougar Bucks are optional funds you or your family add to the card. Some students only have meal-plan dollars.
- Where can I use Cougar Bucks near campus?
- Joe's Pizza & Pasta in Edwardsville and Clubhouse Lounge + Kitchen in Edwardsville both accept Cougar Bucks for eligible in-person purchases. SIUE publishes the full off-campus list.
- How do I check my Cougar Bucks balance?
- Check it in SIUE's GET/Blackboard card tools or through SIUE's Manage Your Card page. Balances and adding funds are handled by SIUE.
- Is the student discount the same as Cougar Bucks?
- No. Cougar Bucks are a payment method run by SIUE. The 10% student discount uses code SIUE on online orders and needs a valid SIUE student ID.
